Where We Work

Beginning in January 2025 Heavenly Call Ministries started working in Kenya and has expanded its reach into three countries.  Beginning with Kenya, then Tanzania; and last but not least Uganda.   

Our work started in 2024 after visiting the Kibera Slum located within the heart of Nairobi, Kenya.  The population within the Kibera slum is approximately 408,000 residents all living in a three mile radius.  Represented within this area there are 42 distinct tribes.  Each with its own tribal leadership, customs, and religious heritage making Kibera’s population diverse and yet the same in many ways.   

Slum life is difficult to say the least.  Survival is the mode of life within these slums around the world.  Each facing the same daily difficulties.  Everything from food, clean safe drinking water, medical care, hygiene, adequate shelter and safety.  

Heavenly Call Ministries was birthed after visiting the Kibera slum in 2024.  The call to help train pastors who have never had any sort of theological training due to extreme poverty and the lack of opportunities was made clear to us.  The lack of training limits their ability to share the full gospel of Jesus Christ, thereby limiting their ability to share the hope that is in Christ Jesus.  Through Heavenly Call Bible College a ray of hope is extended to pastors and church leaders who in turn will change the world around them.
